Design a Life You Love
The past few weeks have been filled with a lot of soul searching. I felt as though I was not in control of my life and I did not like that feeling at all. So, I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and start designing a life that I love.
I started by thinking about what my ideal life would look like. Then, I broke that dream life down into action steps. I am currently working on a project that I am very excited about and will share with you in the next few months. I thought that I am probably not the only person that feels lost from time to time, so I wanted to put together a guide to designing the life you love.
Stop and think about why you are feeling lost. Before you can start making positive changes in your life, you need to think about why you are feeling lost. Are you not being challenged in your day to day life? Do you feel stuck where you are? Is post-grad life turning out differently from how you expected it?
What does your dream life look like? Now that you have established the root of your problem, stop dwelling in it! Instead, think about what your dream life looks like. I want you to write down what a perfect day looks like for you. Be as specific as possible.
How can you achieve that dream life? Well, it will take a lot of work on your end if you want to achieve your dream life. Push through because the end result will be worth it. Break down your dream life into actionable steps. Make a plan for when and how you will meet each step and then get started!
