Love Yourself


Happy February! I've always loved this time of year, even when I was single. It's the season of love, chocolate, pink & red, hearts, candy, etc. No matter if you are single or in a relationship, self-love is very important! Taking care of yourself, relaxing, and doing things that you enjoy is key to keeping stress levels low and happiness up.

This month, I challenge you to take time each day to do something that makes you happy. Whether it be waking up a few minutes earlier so you can enjoy your favorite tea before the day fully starts or spending time reading a book at the end of the day and unwinding, make time for yourself.

Some of my favorite things to do for self-love are:

  • Reading a great book
  • Manicure/pedicure
  • Lighting a candle
  • Painting
  • Scrapbooking
  • Writing in a journal
  • Making a Spotify playlist
  • Drinking tea
  • Taking pictures
  • Going on a walk
  • Working out
  • Doing an at home facial
  • Catching up on YouTube videos & TV shows
  • Watching a movie
