Is it just me or did it feel like March flew by? I feel like I sat down to write my March goals post just last week. As I've explained before, I like coming up with certain goals/priorities to focus on each month. I find that it helps me stay motivated, inspired, and live life to the fullest. This month is my last full month as a college student...what?! I have a few goals that I'd like to focus on in April to help me stay positive during times of change.
- Stop thinking about the past so much. Sometimes I find myself thinking back to the past so much. Things happen and life changes. I need to learn to go with the flow of the change and forget about hurtful things in the past.
- Live each day to the fullest. There is a quote that goes something like, "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, which is why it's called the present." I think that this quote embodies how I want to live my life. Enjoy each day to the fullest and just focus on living in the moment.
- Don't worry, be happy. With all these changes in my life occurring, it is easy to fall into a trap of not thinking that things will work out okay. Thinking that if I am too excited for something, I will get disappointed. I want to stop my worrying mind and just be happy. Choose to smile, laugh, and be happy in the situation that I am in now.
