Time for Thanks
Thanksgiving is a time for thanks, counting blessings, and smiling about all that you are thankful for. It is a time to take a break from fast-paced lives and catch up with family and friends you have not seen in a while. Once you realize all the things in your life you are thankful for, it's easier to let go of things that have caused you stress.
Reflect on the past year's blessings and lessons. Be thankful for the people who have come into your lives and made you happier. It's not often that we find people who come into our lives who we know will stay forever. Let go of the people who have not been there for you, but be thankful for the lessons they taught you. Realize that everything happens for a reason and be happy with the present moment.
I know a lot of this might not come easy, especially the letting go part. However, I think to truly achieve happiness (not that I'm a professional) is to live in the moment, look around at all that you are thankful for, and enjoy the time you spend together.
