November Booklist

I am really excited to share this month's booklist with you! I've read two, amazing books that I 100% recommend. One of my goals for this month was to read more than one book, so I am happy to say that I have. I actually finished the second book yesterday! :)

  • The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins - I haven't seen the movie yet, but I want to! If you enjoy thrillers and the movie/book Gone Girl, The Girl on the Train will be perfect for you. I read through it so quickly and I was so creeped out by the ending!
  • The Smart One by Jennifer Close - This is written by the same author of Girls in White Dresses, which I read for my September booklist. I found that it was extremely relatable, interesting, and I could really envision the characters and how they each felt.

Something that the books I read this month have in common is they are told from a few different perspectives. I find that in a lot of the books I enjoy reading, the story is told from a variety of characters.I think that it gives the story a bit more depth and I can easily imagine how each character is feeling in different situations.

I'm hoping to continue reading at least two books a month, so stay tuned for next month's booklist!

xo, SO
